“The collpeo” consists of eating clay ravine and after 25-30 minutes removing Iran to return the next day. Tours Day 1:
Reception at the airport or bus station and transfer to the office of World Tourism Peru to the corresponding records. In case you have big luggage, we suggest re pack and carry only what is necessary.
Land transfer (4X4) to our destination for approximately 2 hours to reach the banks of the Tambopata River. In this place we will take a boat to the Lodge – Tambopata. Welcome and Breakfast, Brunch.
In the afternoon, we will make an introductory walk into the rainforest where we have the opportunity to see animals in their natural habitat as amphibians, mammals, reptiles and wonderful insects, among others.
Tours Day 2:
We woke up early, at 4:30, to leave for the lick world’s largest macaw, the “COLLPA CHUNCHO”, a journey of about 1:30 hour by boat, on the way we will have the incredible opportunity to see some species like capybaras, which are the world’s largest rodents, tapirs, and you can even see the most beautiful South American feline, jaguar, many of our clients are witnesses with photographic evidence of encounters with these beautiful mammals.
After arrival at the “clay lick.” We will see hundreds of parrots of different species that come to eat clay wall adjacent to the river. We will accommodate us in our saddles to wait to begin one of the most beautiful natural sights of birds in the world. A parrots are followed by 3 species of macaws most colorful of America, reds and greens, blues and yellows more gather to eat clay needed in your diet and eliminate toxins. On a good day of activity you will see hundreds of these wonderful animals flying over you. An experience of a lifetime. Return to our lodging, breakfast and rest.
Then we will walk by our botanical garden where we see some fruit, timber and medicinal species in our area, accompanied by our guide.
Our boat will take us to transport back to Puerto Maldonado, the same route back, we will return. Arrival to Puerto Maldonado terminal or airport shuttle.
