Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu 4 days: Faced with new restrictions and limits on the route of the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu Classic in recent years, has found new alternatives and paths to reach the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. The journey takes about 2 hours, and for the most part and/or paved path. Along the way you can see the sunrise over the impressive Salkantay trek (6.271 meters), and as the first rays of sun illuminated the snow cover.

Salkantay trek, the snowy mountains of 6,300 m. and surrounded by mountains like Umantay, cocashuay, Sacsara among others. TOURS DAY 1:

TOURS CUSCO – MOLLEPATA – Soraypamapa – SALKANTAY TREK

Hotel pick up (4:30 am), we board the bus heading to the town of Mollepata, arriving at approximately 8:30 am, the starting point of our adventure, we will walk for four hours about appreciating diversity of flora and fauna, then we arrive to Silcakancha planned site for our lunch, continue the trip and after three hours of walking we reached Soraypampa to take our dinner and rest overnight in the light of the classic starry sky in our mountainous Inca and Cusco (Cusco).

TOURS DAY 2:

HIKE SORAYPAMPA – COLPABAMBA – SALKANTAY TREK TO MACHU PICCHU

We woke up early for a delicious breakfast, ready to walk Soraypampa, here we are at 3400 meters, where cross a step that is at 4650 meters above sea level, enjoying the Andes, we will have oxygen and first aid kit for any event of emergencies that could occur in the route to Machu Picchu salkantay trek, after contemplating such beauty, descend the mountain, then taste a lunch (choose the place as the pace of our movement), and then continue arrive at Lick bamba place our dinner and camp, this is a tropical area, where we have the presence of mosquitoes, also the vidersidad of flora and fauna, we recommend taking the necessary (or other repellents) precautions.

TOURS DAY 3:

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE COLPABAMBA MACHU PICCHU

We wake up at 6:45 am for breakfast and continue our trek to Lluscamayu; Venue for lunch en route visit Inca bridges, also we can observe the exotic flora and fauna, after two hours we arrive at La Playa, where we take a bus with destination hydroelectric then drive towards Callientes waters (machu Picchu village) on the train that leaves at 4:30 pm. In warm waters it take them to their hotels i will be given dinner.

TOURS DAY 4:

CLIMB TO MACHU PICCHU – WALK MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO

After breakfast, take the bus heading to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, a place where we have a guided tour of about two hours, then we will have free time to appreciate so majestic and impressive Inca citadel. Returning in the afternoon by bus to Aguas Calientes to board the train in accordance with the schedule established by passengers traveling to the city of Cusco.

Itinerary Lares Trek to Machu Picchu-4 days/3 nights

Day 1 – Cusco – Lares trek – Huaca Wasi.

Early departure from Cusco by bus turisico the Sacred Valley, to the province of Calca to 2940msnm, where we take the detour passing Rayanpata, Machacancha to ascend to open Amparaes 4580msnm. Then it descends to reach the town of Lares to 3250msnm. Until its thermal baths.

Day 2 – Huaca Wasi – Open Ipsay – Patacancha – Lares Trek to Machu Picchu:

Early breakfast at the camp. This day ascend to the highest point of our trek to the open 4400m Ipsay. En route we will have beautiful views of the mountain scenery, high Andean communities and appreciate the colorful garments of man Lares. Descend to the community Patacancha to 3800 meters. where we will have our second camp. (Approximate walking time 07 hours)

Day 3 – Patacancha – Willoq – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes town of Machu Picchu.

After a nice breakfast Patacancha declining to Willoq (3,600m) and Pumamarca (3400msnm) who are skilled textile artisans of beautiful colors it began.

Here will be waiting for the bus to take them to Ollantaytambo (2850msnm), an important Inca archaeological site considered as the living Inca city, which will visit. Lunch on the way.

At night board the tourist train to take us to the town of Aguas Calientes town (2050msnm), and settling into a comfortable hotel. D.

Day 4 – Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu hike – Cusco tours.

After breakfast, very early bus to climb the gate of the citadel of Machu Picchu and visit the rest of the morning until lunch (optionally you can visit Intipunko or Waynapicchu). In the afternoon return by train to Cusco. Transfer to hotel. D.

RAFTING ON RIVER URUBAMBA – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO:

Everyone can have an opportunity for a fun and spectacular adventure of descending the Urubamba exciting whitewater river in an inflatable boat with a capacity of four and eight crew, equipped with paddles, life jackets, helmets, rescue lines and led by captains specialists that give security to adventure.

The team of specialists guides will explain before starting the descent, techniques and how to act safely on the river, so you can enjoy sports and nature without risks. DETAILED ITINERARY TRAVEL PERU HOLIDAYS

TREK TO CHOQUEQUIRAO 4 days /3 nights:

Tours Day 1:

Tour Cusco – Cachora – Chiquisqa

We left early morning northwest of the city of Cusco (3350m) in a transport direction Cachora (2850m). Cachora is surrounded by majestic snowcapped mountains and Padreyoc (5571m). This is the meeting place with the carriers and their mules will carry all the camping equipment along the expedition. When you start walking with some green slopes have the presence of the great deity in passing Padreyoc Capuliyoc (2800m). From Capuliyoc we present a spectacular canyon of the Apurimac and the archaeological complex of Choquequirao, which way will see a short break our way to drop that goes way over the edge serpentine mountain to the campsite will be Chiquisqa (1930m ).

Hiking time: 7 hours in a warm climate.

Tours Day 2:

Walk Chiquisca – Playa Rosalina – Marampata – Choquequirao Trek

Having enjoyed our breakfast, we began to descend about an hour to La Playa Rosalina (1500m). From here we begin to climb out of the canyon, in a very warm climate to the town of Marampata 2850m, where we have a beautiful view of the archaeological complex of Choquequirao trek. The sunset is enigmatic phenomenon in Choquequirao accompanied by an Andean symbol “Condor”, which descends from the highest mountains of the Cordillera de Vilcabamba the archaeological complex of Choquequirao trek (3033m), where will be our camp.

Hiking time: 7 hours in a warm and cold weather.

Tours Day 3:

Choquequirao Trek – San Ignacio – Carmen

Observe the sunrise over the archaeological complex of Choquequirao, accompanied by a professional guide will make a presentation regarding the history, ruins and recent excavations found. Currently Choquequirao trek holds many ancient secrets, as at the moment is only 30% of ruin restored knowing that this project is important, will be completed and presented before the eyes of the world “The Cradle of Gold” 10 years from now a large deep understanding of the role specifically Choquequirao is an enigma. After the visit to Choquequirao have to leave the primary site and take our bags to go down a not so common way as it usually visit. That along this new path will have breathtaking views, as the Apurimac canyon, in its greatest length, kindness in flora and fauna. With a gap between Choquequirao and San Ignacio beach 1500m deep. And up to the campsite in a beautiful paradise known as Carmen orchard (2000m).

Hiking time: 5 hours. Moderate warm climate with mosquitoes.

Tours Day 4:

Hike Carmen – Hacienda Tambo Bamba – Huanipaca

El Huerto Carmen, is located near the hacienda Tambo Bamba, in the years of colonization was ruled by maximum Landowners authorities in their regions. They had submitted their servants as slaves and large hectares. They were very rich in growing agricultural products, livestock etc.

Tambó bamba (2500m) currently offers plenty of natural wealth in different areas of crop and livestock production, preserving the tradition and knowledge of our Andean ancestors. Continuing the tour we will be visiting communities and Huanipaca Pacobamba (3150m). Since the community is the best Huanipaca breathtaking view of the chain of glaciers “Sacsarayoc” located in the region of Vilcabamba “The last refuge of the Incas”. And in a moment we will have the shuttle to take us back to Cusco.

Hiking time: 5 hours. Moderate warm climate.
